How do Ash Aspirators Work?
Outdoor ash extractors usually have a long, flexible tube that can be inserted into the device through a door or opening. The other end of the tube is connected to a vacuum cleaner or similar device.
When the vacuum cleaner is turned on, it creates suction that pulls the ash up through the tube into the vacuum cleaner bag or container. Ashes from wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and grills can be cleaned up. There are filters in the vacuum cleaner to prevent the ash from being blown back into the air.
