How Does Pellet Stove Work?
The Pellet Fuels Institute estimates that there are more than 2 million pellet stoves in use in the United States.
Pellet stoves work by igniting a small, controlled fire in the stove using pellets made of compressed wood or other biomass materials. The heat from the fire is used to warm the air in the room, and the stove's fan circulates the warm air around the room.
